The very first Music Enrichment class was started back in 2018 for the participants at the Comal County IDD Center, a day habilitation program for adults with special needs at the 511 E. North St. campus. These fun and interactive music classes have been going strong with upward to 20 participants attending each week.
A new class is now open to adults (18+) with special needs who reside in Comal County. The class meets every Wednesday from 9:15 am – 10:15 am in the Museum party room at the McKenna Events Center, 801 W. San Antonio St. in New Braunfels with music therapist Stefanie Anderson Eckert, starting Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
We are looking forward to filling this class with additional adults with special needs who are interested in experiencing music with a qualified music therapist. Please contact us at info@rockhausfoundation.org if you are interested and as space permits.
